IMPLANT DENTURES

For patients with multiple teeth or all their teeth missing, an option to replace those missing teeth is a partial or full denture. In some cases, patients find these ill-fitting, uncomfortable or loose. An implant retained Overdenture is a great option for those patients experiencing a loose upper or lower full denture. The McGill consensus concluded that placing only 2-4 implants on the lower jaw can greatly improve the stability of the removable lower full denture and increase patient satisfaction.

This allows the patients:

-Improved chewing capacity

-More stability of their denture

-Improved speech

-Increased confidence

-Flexibility of being able to remove dentures at home when needed

-Very affordable treatment

Locator Attachment - The Simple Solution

Easy to insert and remove, the locator attachments we use are designed with customized levels of retention and a low profile. Most importantly, its patented ability to pivot adds resiliency and stability against the high chewing forces in the mouth. This allows it to be superior to other attachment systems such as ball abutments and hader bars

Implant Supported Overdentures

For those patients looking to maximize the support of their denture but still prefer to have the dentures removable, an implant-Supported overdenture is the option for them. In this case, approximately 4 implants are placed, and the locators can be used in conjunction with a custom fabricated bar. The bar adds further support to the denture allowing stability both at the front and the back of the mouth. The Locators are incorporated into the custom bar.
