Getting to the clinic from Canley Vale

Unlike most of the suburbs on this list, Canley Vale has its own railway station — on the T2 and T5 lines — which makes it one of the few places we cover where a train genuinely gets you most of the way, with a short bus or taxi for the last leg. Driving, allow roughly 15 minutes via Cowpasture Road, more in peak traffic; Canley Vale sits past our closer neighbours, not right on Bossley Park’s border.

A suburb with a shared history

Canley Vale and Cabramatta began life as one place — an area locals still sometimes call “Cabravale” — before the two suburbs formally split in 1900. That history shows in the community today: a large, long-established Vietnamese-Australian population, several Buddhist temples, and a town centre along Canley Vale Road and Railway Parade with much in common with Cabramatta’s. Patients here come to us for the usual range — full and partial dentures, relines and repairs — and a laboratory that doesn’t need to post work away tends to matter more the further out a suburb sits.

Aged care residents at SummitCare

SummitCare’s Canley Vale home, on Freeman Avenue, houses 98 residents, and it’s one of the facilities our mobile denture service regularly visits — fitting, checking or repairing dentures without anyone needing to make the trip to us. If your family member lives there, call us and we’ll organise a visit.
